Dr. Ray English III was born and raised here in Rhode Island. He became interested in oral & maxillofacial surgery after shadowing his father, Dr. Ray English Jr. The career fascinated him due to the wide array of treatments the profession offered, from wisdom teeth removal to replacing missing teeth with dental implants, as well as more complex, major surgeries like corrective jaw procedures. However, what truly drove him to pursue the career was seeing how much he could improve the quality of a patient’s life with oral & maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. English received his D.M.D. degree from Boston University, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, and received multiple awards for his salivary gland research, radiology, oral diagnosis, and dental implantology. He holds a master's degree in health policy from New York University, and an undergraduate degree in biology from Boston College. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and has authored multiple articles in professional journals, as well as a chapter in a board review textbook. Dr. Ray English III is also a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and holds hospital privileges at Tufts Medical Center.
When he’s not at the office, Dr. English enjoys spending time with his wife, Alexandra, and his two children, Sophia and Jack. He's also an avid golfer and traveler.
Dr. James LeRoy was born and raised in Western New York. At an early age he became fascinated with medicine and helping others. The complexity and wide variety of procedures drove him to pursue a career in oral & maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. LeRoy received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University at Buffalo and a Masters in Biomedical science from Tufts University. He received his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
After dental school he moved to New York City where he pursued further education and completed a General Practice residence at Montefiore Medical Center prior to completing an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Northwell Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During his four years of training he rotated at a number of hospitals including Stony Brook University Hospital, Northport VA Medical Center, Northshore University Hospital and Nassau County Medical Center. In his final year, he served as the Chief Resident.

He has taken a keen interest in empowering patients in optimizing their oral health through the use of the most current techniques, technology and digital surgical planning. Dr. LeRoy’s aims to provide high-quality oral surgery in a comfortable, pain-free manner.
